What’s a typical day as a Human Resource Specialist? You’ll be:
• Supporting the company's mission, vision, and strategic objectives by aligning HR strategies
• Creating job descriptions, recruitment plans, interview schedules, and evaluation standards
• Developing onboarding procedures and facilitating the seamless hiring and onboarding of new team members
• Creating, documenting, amending, and communicating company policies and procedures
• Assessing reports provided by supervisors to identify training and development opportunities
• Researching compensation standards and creating salary structures
• Administering employee benefits and paid time off
• Supervising all HR activities, communications, reports, requests, and documents
• Managing terminations and overseeing exit interviews
• Improving and standardizing HR processes, particularly in hiring, onboarding, training, and development
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating risk
• Supporting the integration of team members from add-on acquisitions
• Improving HR systems and subscriptions
• Building strong relationships with prospective candidates, employees, and management
