Human Resources GeneralistResponsible for preforming day-to-day HR related duties on a senior level. This position will support the Human Resources department in key areas including employee engagement, performance management, onboarding, benefits administration, and employment law compliance. The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented, professional, organized, and able to manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities: *
Provide assistance to employees and supervisors in understanding HR policies and proceduresAssist with employee relations including recommendations for disciplinary action, and terminationAssist withrecruiting efforts and support the employee onboarding processMakes sure current ERP payroll system is continuously updated with more current employee informationMaintains I-9 documentation within legal requirements.Support Management with LOAs, as well as any payroll issues.Assist with unemployment claims and inquiriesSupport the HR Manager in achieving departmental goals and objectivesOversees employee benefit plans and assist with open enrollmentOrganize and execute employee events and incentive programs to enhance morale and satisfactionPerform other duties as assigned*Qualifications: *
Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or related field and a minimum of five (5) years of experienceStrong interpersonal skills both written and oralManufacturing background a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlinesMust have excellent organizational skills and high attention to detailProficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and OutlookExperience with Infor or Syteline ERP system a plusBilingual a plus
