Description Job Description: We are seeking a UX Designer with strong UI design skills to join our team temporarily. The chosen candidate will collaborate with our UX team to design a premier assessment-building experience, helping instructors prepare nursing students for licensure. You will work closely with a UX lead and UX Researcher as part of a cross-functional project team, bringing a user-centered perspective to our projects. You will also be an integral member of the NHE UX team, which includes 14 other UX practitioners, providing abundant opportunities for detail oriented growth. Key Responsibilities: Gather and evaluate customer use cases and pain points through frequent contact. Advocate for customers’ needs with the cross-functional team, inspiring the team to understand and meet user needs. Collect feedback and insights from customers and business stakeholders. Ensure work is tested with users, collaborating with other functions as needed. Utilize user insights proactively to guide all product and design decisions, and analyze research results to recommend solutions. Propose design solutions, recognizing contributions from others. Assist senior designers in developing product concepts and designs by following design best practices. Work with existing design patterns and style guides, occasionally introducing new patterns. Produce designs across all relevant platforms and lead the team in establishing key metrics for projects. Requirements Qualifications: Basic understanding of design principles, with a focus on UI design rather than user research. Attention to detail. Receptive to feedback from senior designers.
