About Human Resource Coordinator

  Buffalo, NY. Jericho Community Health Center. Human Resource Coordinator.FT. 1st Shift. $17.00-$18.00/Hour.

  Provide high-level administrative support to the Human Resources Team by conducting research, handling information requests, perform administrative and organizational tasks and oversee projects as needed.

  STAFF CARE:Provide excellent customer service to internal and external candidates to provide a positive experience as a support in the recruitment process.Respond to staff inquires and re-route them to appropriate HR staff member based on need.Assists in coordinating and scheduling CPR training for staff.Provide support during annual events, fundraisers and staff events.Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation both in paper files and electronically.Respond to staff need for employment verification and correspond with external inquiries.

  ADMINISTRATIVE:Attend trainings and educational opportunities to remain current in best practices.Attend monthly all staff meetings and mandatory organizational training.Perform quarterly audit of personnel files to reflect changes in active employee rosters.Oversee ordering business cards for staff members.Manage inventory levels and ordering office supplies for HR team.Coordinate submission of split sheets, invoices and HR use of JRCHC credit card with Finance.Support benefit enrollment, renewal and termination, administer COBRA for terminated employees.

  Support facilitation of medical and non-medical leave paperwork in coordination with the Payroll & Benefits Specialist.Enter data required for background check process.Run ad hoc and routine reports as needed through ADP.Support data retention and corporate memory needs in alignment with DOL standards and best practices, tracking incoming information as needed.Format and revise forms and documentation as needed, maintain incoming and outgoing HR paperwork, following up with pertinent parties as needed.Research new opportunities for discounts and benefits for employees.Support OSHA Coordinator and Supervisors to manage personnel and medical files to ensure they are complete and items are filed or stored appropriately.
