  THE POSITION

The Department of Human Services Delivery Center-Division of Human Resource Field Operations is seeking a Human Resource (HR) Analyst 1 to join our team. This position gives you the opportunity to perform various human resource duties within the office.   DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  In this role, you will be working in the Human Services (HHS) HR Delivery Center/Division of HR Field Operations office. You will be responsible for assisting with human resource functions for the Office of Income Maintenance (OIM) Area, OIM Area 6, whose complement exceeds 1,100 positions. You will have the opportunity to provide support in the hiring process, labor relations, reporting, and various other HR duties. This position reports to the Area HR Lead who oversees OIM Area 6.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment

  Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

  Work hours are negotiable withing the agency's business hours.

  A field office location within DHS OIM Area 6 may be provided to the selected candidate based on their home address. This field location (within Pennsylvania) will be where the selected candidate reports for their in-office days. Area 6 counties include: Bradford, Carbon, Columbia, Lackawanna, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Pike, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Wayne, and Wyoming. Further information will be shared with the selected candidate prior to finalizing the job offer.

  Occasional travel may be required, including but not limited to all facilities in OIM Area 6.

  Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to an office location on a full-time basis.

  Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  One year of experience in the performance of technical human resource duties; and a bachelor's degree;or

  An equivalent combination of experience and training.
