THE POSITION
Do you have talent acquisition experience and strong analytical skills? The Human Services Human Resource (HR) Office is seeking an HR professional to perform talent acquisition functions. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Human Resource Analyst 1, you will be responsible for managing hiring processes for assigned Department of Human Services (DHS) organizations and providing technical advice and guidance to hiring managers regarding hiring options, interviewing candidates and making selections. This involves reviewing requests to fill vacant positions, researching and evaluating available data to develop strategies to establish an optimal candidate pool, and creating requisitions and related documents for approved to fill vacancies, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
In this position you will provide thorough, seasoned guidance to hiring managers regarding the best method to fill positions efficiently and effectively and assist with developing interview questions and criteria. You will also communicate with candidates through conditional job offer and non-selection notifications, participate in discussions with hiring managers, research issues and problems, make recommendations for resolutions, and implement agreed upon solutions. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week per operational needs. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience in the performance of technical human resource duties; and a bachelor's degree;or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
