  DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  Within this Human Resource Analyst 1 position, you will provide consultative support to agency managers, supervisors, and human resource liaisons regarding the proper development and maintenance of position descriptions (PDs). Responsibilities include gathering reports of agency positions for which current and accurate PDs are not in place, advising program offices of the PDs requiring updates, and providing guidance and necessary follow-up to ensure completion.  You will provide assistance by drafting standardized PD templates for high-volume, agency-specific jobs and share with program offices for use as appropriate.  We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who also values a teamwork approach.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment

  Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

  Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days a week.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mechanicsburg.

  Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  One year of experience in the performance of technical human resource duties; and a bachelor's degree; or

  An equivalent combination of experience and training.
