Job Overview:
Implement McDermott HSE Operating values, policies, procedures and systems within project and work with Project Management Team and clients in applying effective HSES plans and execution. Manage / implement HSES Audit programs. Assist in evaluation of subcontractor HSE screening process and documentation.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Familiarization with all company and project specific HSES terms, requirements and project deliverables.
Identification of applicable regulatory requirements specific to the scope of work including monitoring compliance.
Ensuring HSES plans, procedures and instructions are implemented
Facilitation of project HAZID’s and other risk reviews
Assist in preparation and maintenance of Project Risk Register and Corrective Action Tracking
Assist in HSES Prequalification of project subcontractors and vendors as applicable
Assist in preparation of project HSES audit plans and conducting of audits
Conducting reviews and audits of vessels, facilities or projects
Assist in preparation and maintenance of Project HSES Activity Plans
Assist in the initiation of HSES training needs analysis and coordination of implementation
Provide SME support to company QHSES training department to include development and delivery
Overseeing developed plans to meet project Objectives, Targets and Goals aligned to the Area
Leading or participating as SME in Incident Investigations and reporting as applicable.
Assist in the Review/Approval of subcontractors and vendors for equipment and services
Conduct regular site or facility reviews
Other duties connected with the HSES function, as directed by Supervisor or Manager, HSES.
Responsible to familiarize with QHSES Policies and procedures and ensure that all work related are done in a safe manner. Actively participate in all QHSES Initiatives and Programs.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Degree/Diploma or equivalent in HSE related subject
5+ years within the Energy Industry through all phases of EPCI project delivery
Strong leadership skills, a team player
Conversant with local and international HSES laws, regulations and norms
NEBOSH or equivalent
Have wide experience with technical activities, including on and offshore operations.
