Job Description:
The Global People Modernization Program Deployment Lead ensures successful implementation of the future state HR Operating Model for a set of countries. The role is responsible for the effort to define business readiness, implement improved business processes, deployment of HR solutions and enhancements, coordination of systems and process testing, people readiness, and stabilization. The Wave Deployment Lead is responsible for the implementation of the solution by wave requiring collaboration and teamwork with 3rd party vendors and leaders across the Global People function.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all wave results, planning and synchronization with broader team, and prioritization of delivery team activities for defined countries
Ensure the deployment wave is operating to plan, proactively identifying risk and issues, and engaging the right parties to mitigate risk problem solve
Champion program governance and project status forums, ensuring all parties are apprised of actions and decisions to ensure timely, high-quality decision making
Influence partners to support the integrated project plan and ensure organizational readiness and commitment of ongoing enhancements, optimization, and value realization activities.
Plan and implement highly sophisticated large-scale efforts involving organizational design, functional solutions, change initiatives, and make improvements
Coordinate and engage with key cross-workstream internal partners to streamline interactions while maintaining line of sight to dependencies required for success
Build team ownership and commitment to project, business plans, project milestones, deliverables, and associated resource requirements
Proactively identify and assess areas of risk, escalate issues in a timely manner and drive team for resolutions
Collaborate with PMO and 3rd party vendor leadership to drive deliverables for assigned wave
Mentors, encourages, and enables skill development of project team members
Provides HR enhancement expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications:
Proven experience leading multi-workstream program and exercises significant independent judgment to resolve the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives
Prior program and project management experience leading large scale, integrated transformation program
Strong, professional communication skills, with ability to engage with senior managers using appropriate level of detail, terminology, and style
Uses influence to drive decision making and find resolutions
Access and strong influence with Business leaders to drive alignment and ascertain we have the right Business engagement
Significant HR knowledge and proficiency across numerous functional areas
Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed
Ability to negotiate changes to commitments and requirements
Ability to review ongoing and proposed projects to identify opportunities for reuse and process improvement
