Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Property Administrator to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves conducting eligibility interviews, maintaining tenant records, and ensuring the timely recertification schedule. As a Property Administrator, you will be interacting regularly with clients and managing all the necessary documentation related to tenant leases.
Responsibilities:
Executes rental contracts and/or leases, including: conducting research related to rental rates; preparing rent increases; negotiating rent amounts with property agents; obtaining proper signatures for contracts or leases; monitoring contracts and leases to ensure compliance with laws and regulations; processing requests for lease approval; and performing related tasks.
Provides assistance to applicants, staff, and others, including: explaining program eligbility requirements to tenants and property owners; assisting individuals in resolving program application issues; providing guidance to staff in performing program tasks; assisting property owners in interpreting rental contracts; and/or providing information related to program rules and regulations.
Negotiates rent and executes leases and contracts.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Property Administrator role or similar.
• Proficiency in Leasing Consultancy.
• Demonstrable experience in managing tenant leases and tenant retention.
• Proficient in email correspondence for professional communication.
• Familiarity with contract terms and conditions relevant to property administration.
• Experience in compiling documents and maintaining documentation accurately.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
• Understanding of Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic.
• Proficient in the use of property management software and other relevant computer applications.
