  Disclosure of Job Opportunity: 45 Temporary Seasonal Position Available(Dates of Need: 04/01/2024 through 01/31/2025)

  Position: Housekeepers

  Duties: Carry linens, towels, toilet items and cleaning supplies usingwheeled carts. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors,elevators, stairways and other areas to ensure health standards are met.Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays and transport all trash and to wastedisposal areas. Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens,writing supplies and bathroom items. Clean rugs, carpets, furniture, anddraperies. Must be able to use the equipment associated with the position,including, but not limited to, vacuum, cleaning supplies and safetyequipment. Inspect physical condition of facilities to determine type of workrequired. Keep storage areas and carts well stocked, clean, and tidy.Examine work performed to ensure it meets established standards.

  Requirements: Experience not required. Must be available to work all shiftsincluding weekends and holidays. Must pass pre-employment background checks.Ameristar screens all applicants through background checks, includingdomestic and H-2B visa employees, and seasonal and full-time annualpositions. These standards are applied to all applicants regardless of theirnational origin, race, or gender. All employment background checks testsare directed by our Human Resources department, which is trained tofacilitate these matters.

  Fulltime: Employer will offer a minimum of no less than 35 hours per week(meaning no less than). Open 7-days a week (overnights and holidaysincluded). Shifts: 9am to 4:30pm, 4pm to 11:30pm, 5pm to 12am,12am to 7:30am. Shift schedule start and end times, and days off varydepending

  Overtime: As Needed Only

  On the Job Training: Yes

  Wage Offer: Workers will be paid no less than $20 per hour; Overtimewage will be no less than $30 per hour. Paid Bi-weekly. Will use singleworkweek as standard for computing wages due.

  Housing: Optional employee housing may be available. Cost of housing is$600 per month and is paid through payroll deductions. A $250non-refundable deposit, which covers last month's rent, cleaning fee andmove-in items is required and can be paid upfront or by voluntary paymentplan, paid through payroll deductions.

  Deductions: Employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheckrequired by law; and optional employee housing.

  Benefits: N/A

  Transportation and subsistence to the place of employment: If the workercompletes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange andpay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitmentto the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the workeris dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker'sreasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to theplace the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker willnot return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where theemployer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment ofemployment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will beequal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distancesinvolved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of $ 15.46 per day duringtravel to a maximum of $59 per day with receipts.

  Visa and visa-related expenses: Workers will be reimbursed in the firstworkweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other relatedfees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).

  Tools: Will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, andequipment required to perform the job.

  Daily Transportation: Workers are responsible for their own dailytransportation to and from the worksite. Employer does not offertransportation but will assist workers in locating daily transportation.
