Robert Half has partnered with a distributor in Denver in search of an Accounting Manager! The Accounting Manager position is paying $80,000-$95,000!

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following:

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Month-End Close: Oversee and manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, variance analysis, and other reports to provide management with insights into the company's financial performance.

SOX Compliance: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements, maintaining a strong internal control environment.

General Accounting: Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide financial projections as needed to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements for the Accounting Manager include:

Bachelor's Degree

8+ years of accounting experience

Inventory accounting experience

Distribution, manufacturing, or construction industry experience
