　　Good Shepherd Village in Endwell is looking for an energetic housekeeper to join our team!

　　Position Details:

　　Full Time Monday - Friday, day shift position , 8:30am -5:00pm.

　　Position Summary

　　The housekeeper will maintain the appearance and general cleanliness of the community for the comfort and use of residents, family members, visitors, and employees. The housekeeper will clean common areas, facility spaces and residents' living spaces according to schedule to maintain a healthy and attractive environment. Duties include, but not limited to; cleaning floors, glass cleaning, vacuuming, disinfecting bathrooms, making beds and dusting surfaces.

　　Essential Job Requirements

　　Education: High School diploma or GED preferred

　　License: N/A

　　Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age. Ability to read, write and speak the English language

　　Experience: Previous housekeeping experience preferred

　　Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

　　Maintain resident rooms according to established cleaning procedures and schedule.

　　Maintain public areas and facility spaces, to include; hallways, restrooms, stairwells, meeting spaces, etc. according to established cleaning procedures and schedule.

　　Performs vacuuming, mopping and dust mopping

　　Performs dusting

　　Uses damp or disinfecting treated cloths to clean surfaces

　　Gathers & disposes of trash

　　Cleans and disinfects public and resident restrooms

　　Cleans sinks, tubs & mirrors

　　Replenishes supplies of soap, towels and other dispensable items

　　Help prepare areas for occupancy readiness

　　May assist with laundry and/or linen; replenish and/or changing

　　Move furniture and/or beds

　　Perform special cleaning assignments as needed

　　Implement and maintain schedule for cleaning, including QCI

　　Secure housekeeping equipment and maintain & follow chemical supply safety protocols

　　All other duties as assigned.

　　Physical Demands

　　Occasionally: Lifting/Carrying 26+ lbs Pushing/Pulling 1-50+ lbs Sitting Crawling Climbing Stairs Climbing Ladders

　　Frequently: Lifting/Carrying 1-25 lbs, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Reaching

　　Continuously: Standing and Walking.
