Employer offers a minimum of 35 hours per week, 9:00am - 5:30pm (5 rotating days including weekends and holidays. Days will vary depending on reservations). Work in multiple worksites throughout Taney County, Branson, Missouri. Duties: Clean and dust resort rooms; strip used linens, towels; wash used linens, towels; complete assignments/maintain rooms in clean and orderly manner; remove trash from rooms; restock closets and carts; assist guests with questions, requests, problems or comments as needed. Other related duties. Requirements: Minimum 1 month of housekeeping experience. Regular bending, stooping and stretching; ability to lift maximum weight of 30 lbs. on a regular basis. Must provide written verification of prior experience from current or prior employer(s). Background checks and drug testing are conducted on the day of hiring. Post-offer pre-employment drug screenings will be carried out equally between the US workers and the H2B workers. Rate of Pay: $14.00 per hour during training, then will increase to $20 rate per bed cleaned. However, wage rate will in no case be less than $12.84 per hour. O/T is possible at time and a half. Overtime is possible at $19.26 per hour. Benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision are available on the first of the month following a 60-day wait period. PTO accrual starts at date of hire and can be taken following a 90 day wait period. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will provide workers, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Air transportation to the place of employment will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker (air travel paid upfront); Ground expenses and subsistence costs will be reimbursed to the worker during the 1st work week. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46 per day during travel to a max. of $59.00 per day with receipts. If the worker does not complete at least half of the employment period the worker is expected to refund the employer. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Housing not provided.
