About Hospitality Internship Program

  JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description Pay: \$18 per hour The Great WolfSummer Hospitality Internship is a 10-week program that provides collegestudents with meaningful experience that compliments their currentcoursework. Through an experiential and structured approach to learning,interns will gain real-life experience in the hospitality andentertainment industry. The program will include a job shadow week toprovide exposure and learning of other disciplines across the brand. Atthe end of the program, participants will also complete a term projectand present to the lodge leadership team. Upon successful completion ofprogram, interns will be considered for future internships, full-timepositions and/or Great Wolf\'s Management Development Program (MDP). The10-week program will include: 10-weeks in a frontline position indisciplines such as: Guest Services, Housekeeping, Retail & Attractions,or Food & Beverage 1 job-shadow week to experience different disciplinesnot included in the rotation as well as exposure to HR, Sales andAquatics disciplines A meaningful project to execute and present to thelodge leadership team at the conclusion of the program On-the job,self-paced and classroom style learning for your assigned discipline (noprior experience required!) Opportunity to network with programparticipants within your lodge and across the company Professionaldevelopment and targeted growth opportunities in hotel/resortoperations, leadership experience and business acumen What you willgain: Gain real-life experience and on-the job training for keyfrontline positions Experience creating, preparing and presenting to aleadership team Exposure and visibility to the lodge leadership team andManagement Development Program (recent college grads) leaders Frequentfeedback and coaching to support your growth and development throughoutthe program and beyond Opportunity to work and learn from a diverse setof pack members and leaders Training and development focused on yourpersonal and professional development as well as key competencies in thehospitality and entertainment industry Responsibilities: Handles theday-to-day responsibilities of key frontline roles such as Front DeskAgent, Room Attendant, F&B Attendant, Server, Retail & AttractionsAttendant, Entertainment Ambassador etc. Complete assigned project andpresent to lodge leadership team Participates in a professionaldevelopment series to develop both soft and technical skills Maintains awork area that adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness,presentation and service Enhances the guest experience through providingexceptional customer service Adheres to daily operating and safetyprocedures Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality RequiredQualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Current enrollment inan Associate\'s degree or Bachelor\'s degree program Available tocomplete at minimum a...
