A.I.S., Inc. (AIS) is a national scientific services firm supporting maritime activities requiring certification of compliance with environmental regulations as well as collecting data for use by Federal, State, Municipal, and other government agencies along the US coastline. AIS is looking for a Project Manager to lead our pursuit of an Environmental Consulting ID/IQ Contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)Primary Function:The Project Manager's primary responsibilities are to pursue, win and then manage task orders related to the National Environmental Policy Act and to expand the company's presence and revenue stream on the contract. This role will entail operational responsibility for project development, execution, supervision, administration, management, and financial performance for AIS. The candidate will plan for and assign resources to ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and within the budget. The Project Manager is the supervisor for all team members assigned to the contract and will communicate with a broad range of stakeholders. They will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and expansion of all customer and teammate relationships. The Project Manager will report to and is evaluated by the Program Manager of Scientific Research and Technical Services.Duties/Responsibilities:Operational ManagementManaging the development of Records of Environmental Consideration, Categorical Exclusion Records, Environmental Assessments and Impact Statements under NEPA (and related laws, Executive Orders, regulations and policy).Managing the drafting of Findings of No significant Impact and Records of Decision.Managing the development of Biological and/or cultural Assessments on the impacts of Corps' actions on endangered species under ESA and impact determinations under other biological resource protection laws, regulations and policy.Manage fish and wildlife surveys and habitat analyses and mitigation planning.Managing the drafting of documents in support of CWA, CZMA, MMPA and other compliance regulations.Managing archeological support services including impact analyses for environmental assessments, environmental impact statements, and planning documents.Manage the support service for the assistance with the Protection of Historic Properties: the Section 106 Process.Organizing public involvement in support of awarded task orders.Planning and BudgetingPlan and budget for all resources required to successfully execute all assigned projects, including, direct project salary/labor, contracted labor, indirect salary/labor, material, and travel.Plan and budget for all resources required to develop, expand and maintain the client relationship, including but not limited to indirect salary/labor, business meals, entertainment, advertising, and other business development expenses.Plan and budget for all resources required to recruit, develop, motivate, and reward project team members and portfolio staff and achieve employee retention goals.Revenue/Sales Generation and Cost ControlIn conjunction with the Program Manager, establish, document, and review the program revenue/sales projections, actuals, and variances annually.Develop get-well plans for revenue shortfalls.Identify, analyze, and report cost variances.Manage costs to ensure the program does not exceed established budgets to achieve Net Profit objectives.Customer RelationsAs the primary AIS point of contact for the Program, ensure that project team performance consistently meets or exceeds established customer satisfaction benchmarks.Develop and foster solid customer and team member relationships by providing honest value.Human Resources ManagementAs the primary AIS point of contact for the program, work with the PM and Talent Acquisition
