　　LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in South Bend IN. The position, Hospital Reference Test Clerk, will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment at times located onsite with one of our client offices.

　　Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:30PM-11PM, and rotating Saturdays . Will float to hospital locations or work at the branch lab in South Bend.

　　Work Locations: South Bend, Laporte, Elkhart, Mishawaka.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing

　　• Communicate effectively with client office staff

　　• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems

　　• Meet department activity and production goals

　　• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

　　• Accurately identify and label specimens

　　• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities

　　Requirements:

　　This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Subject to applicable law, all prospective hires will need to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for medical or religious accommodations.

　　• High School Diploma or equivalent

　　• No relative experience required; 1-2 years preferred

　　• Previous medical or production experience is a plus

　　• Comfortable handling biological specimens

　　• Ability to accurately identify specimens

　　• Experience working in a team environment

　　• Strong data entry and organizational skills

　　• High level of attention to detail

　　• Proficient in MS Office

　　• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.

　　• Ability to pass a standardized color blind test
