Home Visitor, Wyoming County Community Action. Full Job Description: Responsible for initiating and maintaining regular home visits with eligible families in Wyoming & Genesee Counties. Conduct regular assessments, provide positive parent child interaction and family/child health and development; assist families with goal planning to enhance family functioning, while making referrals, advocacy, follow up and overall service coordination with other providers. Minimum Requirements: Must have High School Diploma or GED; some experience working with or providing services to children and families; an ability to develop trusting relationships; acceptance of individual and cultural differences; knowledge of community resources; knowledge of infant & child development. Must have Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation. Preferred Requirements: Associates Degree with 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Strong computer, time management and documentation skills.. Job Type: Full time. Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday with flexibility to accommodate evening and occasional weekend visits and or program activities.
