ResponsibilitiesJob Summary The Home and Community Bases Services Aide is a person whoprovides support, assistance with personal hygiene and householdfunctions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home.Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities Reports observations of theclient\'s condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notifiesthe Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat beltwhen business travel is required. May provide or assist clients withactivities of daily living including: bathing in bed, tub or shower;care of hair including shampoo, combing and brushing; care of teeth andmouth including denture care; nail care, filing only; skin careincluding pericare and applying lotion; transfer of patient from bed tochair and to wheelchair. Transfer of patients on and off bedpan, commodeand toilet. Assists with household tasks directly essential to clientspersonal care. Education and Experience Experience Desired Six monthsexperience in home care preferred. Reliable vehicle and a driver\'slicense. Skill Requirements Ability to work flexible hours as requiredto meet identified patient\'s needs. Ability to function in any homesituation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, orfinancial condition of the patient. Able to work independently. Abilityto multi-task, self-directed, good time management skills, courteous,and common sense. Good communication, writing, and organizationalskills.
