Main Responsibilities

The HC Engineering and Innovation Manager will lead the development and execution of strategies to enhance product offerings and optimize manufacturing processes to deliver additional value to business . This includes managing engineering projects from concept to implementation, integrating new technologies , and improving production systems for efficiency and quality. The manager will also oversee maintenance ensuring equipment is regularly serviced and operationa l and utility continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include asset maintenance, continuous improvement, collaborating with RD , marketing, and production teams to manage innovation , asset maintenance and ensuring effective – cost efficient- and high - quality operations. The manager will develop preventive maintenance schedules as per Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) , troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure compliance with regulations. Additionally, they will prepare reports on project progress and innovation initiatives, while mentoring and fostering a creative, collaborative engineering team.

Candidate Criteria

Experience Qualification

Education : Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).

Experience : Minimum of 7 years in factory operations, engineering , with a n experience on process improvement and technology integration

Skill

Proficiency in data analysis and digital tools.

Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.

Technical proficiency in engineering principles and manufacturing processes.

Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
