Actalent is hiring for a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Histotechnologist in Washington, DC!

　　Description:

　　ASCP certified clinical laboratory scientist or histotechnologist with at least one year of IHC experience. Experience performing antibody validations would be optimal. IHC experience must be using DAKO automation and/or technologist must have HQIP examination certification.

　　Technologist must be flexible and willing to perform other duties in the anatomic pathology laboratory as staffing needs including the following:

　　a. Slide distribution

　　b. Accessioning

　　c. Slide and block filing

　　d. Histotechnologist specific:

　　Embedding & microtomy

　　Tissue processor changing

　　e. Medical technologist specific:

　　Cytology FNA coverage

　　Cytology medical sample preparation

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　ASCP OR AMT Certification

　　Histotechnologist specific skills including: embedding, microtomy , and IHC.

　　IHC experience is a must
