DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will have the responsibility of managing a team of workers who operate heavy construction equipment and utilize hand tools to safely carry out a variety of highway maintenance tasks. These tasks encompass activities such as repairing cracks and potholes, stabilizing and fixing shoulders, installing and maintaining drainage pipes, setting up guide rails, sweeping roadways, collecting litter, widening roadways, and coordinating emergency responses to snow, ice, storms, or accidents. Furthermore, you will be tasked with investigating highway-related complaints, responding promptly and appropriately, as well as reviewing and maintaining records of road conditions in your assigned area to aid in effective planning and prioritization of work operations and estimates.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as a Highway Foreman 1; orTwo years of experience in the performance of lead work or skilled tradesman duties on a highway maintenance or construction project; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training.Special Requirement:
This position requires possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania Driver's License. Additional Requirements:**
