Building corrals using portable panels.
Building portable electric fences daily.
Moving livestock daily or more than once a day across paddocks.
Supplying stock water to livestock.
Feeding minerals, hay, protein blocks, and pro-biotics to livestock asneeded.
Caring for the well-being of livestock.
Culling and treating animals with signs of health issues.
Work is performed on the range for the majority (meaning more than 50percent) of the workdays in the work contract period.
Employer will provide the employee(s) without charge or deposit charge,all tools, supplies, and equipment required by law as follows:
Mobile phones for daily communication between workers and employer
o There is good phone reception at the workplace.
o We will schedule daily status calls between employer and workers.
Portable electric fence tools such as posts, reels, ground rods, andchargers
Portable water tanks, pens, and loading chute.
Utility Vehicle (UTV), Trailer, and Tractor
This position requires the individual to have experience dealing withand caring for livestock, and knowledge about portable electric fenceand holistic grazing management. Training requirements: Holistic GrazingManagement (5 days)
