Description
The Intellectual Property team is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Vice President & Associate General Counsel for all brand protection and enforcement, domain name and gTLD portfolios, content protection and anti-piracy for each of Amazon’s business areas and subsidiaries.
The candidate will be an experienced professional, who has demonstrated using strong business judgement, while working in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced global environment. They must be able to perform a high volume of complex tasks autonomously, be detail-oriented and an exceptional planner. They must be able to communicate and respond effectively and efficiently, while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor and grace under pressure. This candidate will work closely with the Intellectual Property team, their leadership team, other Amazon groups, and external partners.
Responsibilities for this position include the proactive ownership of the VP’s calendar, coordinating complex domestic and international travel – heavy international planning and assistance, scheduling and organizing complex meetings, and a proven ability to plan-ahead and manage time effectively.
Key job responsibilities
· Management of complex calendars and scheduling
· Manage complex domestic and international travel and expense reports
· Work closely with the leadership team and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
· Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
· Management of team space, including moves and reconfigurations
· Various Administrative Tasks

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of executive assistant experience
Experience with executive level calendar management
Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
High school or equivalent diploma
Experience handling administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
