Description:
• Collaborate and continuously coordinate with the HEDIS project team, to assure a successful outcome of the project and HEDIS Compliance Audit
• Conduct HEDIS-related research and medical record review
• Act as HEDIS liaison to providers at which reviews are performed
• Other duties as assigned
• Knowledge of HEDIS technical specifications, including but not limited to hybrid measure medical record data abstraction requirements
• An emphasis in Medicare or Medicaid/Medi-Cal managed care

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Previous HEDIS medical record review or auditing of medical record experience highly desired (priority to candidate with this direct experience).
• Medical knowledge/terminology is required (MUST).
• Ability to read and interpret medical records (MUST).
• Knowledge of EMR systems with ability to navigate through records contained within them.
• Computer savvy: Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and Adobe reader required. Know how to save a file to a folder.
• Ability to maintain medical record review productivity average 40-60 records depending on the measure.
