　　Job Description

　　Effectively apply various packaging methods to systems to be shipped (standard, sea worthy, airfreight, “show” boxes, etc.) in order to prevent shipping damage and/or in accordance with customer specifications as noted on purchase order or contract.

　　Select or design adequate and proper box, base or container.

　　Use power and hand tools to fabricate and assemble packing skids and containers.

　　Rig equipment and work with truck drivers for loading.

　　Photograph and document shipments.

　　Maintain inventory levels of all packaging and crating materials.

　　Provide feedback to all related areas to optimize process.

　　Cross-train on other functions within the team.

　　Maintain a clean and safe work area.

　　Overtime may be required, sometimes with little advance notice.

　　Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as may be assigned.

　　Qualifications

　　High school diploma or equivalent.

　　Knowledge of various packaging methods, and rigging experience.

　　General knowledge of the operation of power and hand tools (power saw, pneumatic nailers, etc.).

　　Able to be certified to run an overhead crane and forklift.

　　Ability to learn Bosch Rexroth mainframe computer system.

　　Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

　　Ability to prioritize and accommodate changes in work schedules.

　　Able to coordinate and document paperwork appropriately.

　　Knowledge of personal computer and Microsoft Office software.

　　General knowledge of Bosch Rexroth product line.

　　Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.

　　High school graduate or equivalent.
