　　Position Summary

　　Under the immediate direction of the Leadperson, the Equipment Operatorsafely operates plant mobile heavy equipment to include haul truck,motor grader, water truck, crane, etc. to bring raw materials from pitto plant in a safe and efficient manner at maximum loading capacity.

　　Essential Functions

　　Must be able to or willing to learn to operate all other mobileequipment, including: haul truck, motor grader, water truck, loaderand craneAssist in plant repairs and clean-upPerform pre-shift safety inspection on equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and service mobile equipment.Report needed repairs to shop personnelResponsible for good housekeeping of equipmentAdhere to MSHA and plant safety rules and regulationsPerform duties with minimum supervisionOther duties as assignedMinimum Education and Experience

　　High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredPrefer 3-5 years\' experience operating heavy mobile equipmentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities

　　Must be able to read equipment operating manualMust be able to complete pre-shift inspection reportMust be able to communicate in English on radio or CBPossess basic mathematical aptitude to complete daily reportsMust be able to wear all required safety equipmentMust be able to perform duties in a safe mannerMust be able to read and interpret gaugesProven ability to work in a TEAM environmentPhysical Requirements

　　Must have good hand/eye coordination and be able to operatehand/foot controlsPossess good vision to perceive depth at close range and distancesup to 150 feetMust be able to limb on and off equipment to operate and serviceMust be able to bend, stoop, climb and reach around mobile equipmentCapable of lifting up to 50 lbMust be able to sit and operate equipment for long periods up to 10+hours per dayMust work outside in all weather conditions consistent with extremeambient temperatures: heat, cold, wetness, dryness, dust, and noisyconditionsMust be able to work at various heightsWorking Conditions
