Summary You will serve as a MACHINED PARTS INSPECTOR SUPERVISOR in the NON-NUCLEAR INSPECTION DIVISION, QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICE of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will have a thorough knowledge or be qualified in such nondestructive testing methods as Rapid Identification of Metals, such as, Acid Spot Testing and/or x-ray spectrometry devices. You will make recommendations to the Branch Head/General Foreman in regard to policies, standards, and overall inspection goals. You will enforce safety regulations. You will maintain or supervise the maintenance of files of technical data pertaining to inspections. You will provide guidance on inspection problems, needs, and ability to assist during planning phases of work.
