Coordinatespatient information and communication for the department and isresponsible for maintaining accurate medical records. Reports to theNurse Manager of the assigned unit and the RN\'s on duty for theirassigned shift. Performs other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCEDESCRIPTION: A minimum of 6 months experience as a Health UnitCoordinator is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School diploma orequivalent is required. Completion of formal Health Unit Coordinatortraining program is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Must have theability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment. Exemplarytelephone etiquette and customer service skills are required. Mustpossess analytical skills to gather and interpret routine data, maintainsemi-complex records and organize work. Working knowledge of Windowsoffice systems and all office equipment preferred Ability to communicateclearly.
