Daily job tasks may include field-based environmental samplingtasks, mathematical exposure calculations, and providing writtencritiques of materials for litigation-related matters. The preferredcandidate will have at least a bachelor\'s degree in a healthscience-related field (Biology, Toxicology, Environmental Science,Public Health, etc.), strong writing skills, and attention to details.In this career track position, the Health Scientist will receivesignificant mentoring and first-hand experience, along withopportunities to pursue professional certifications. Health Scientistposition levels range from Assistant (entry level) to Senior(advanced/terminal degrees). Incumbents enter the career track at alevel appropriate to their education, experience, certifications, andskills with the ability to gain vertical career growth through training,gained experience and prescribed benchmarks.

Pay Range: \$43,000-\$99,700 (commensurate with experience)

ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE OF WORK
Compiles, critically reviews, and abstracts scientific/technicalliterature, depositions, and court related documents as assignedProvides data management and case evaluation support to projectmanagers, toxicologists and others as requestedAssesses, Organizes, and compiles incoming data into a databasesystem for expert reports and tablesConducts evaluations of the physical, chemical, and toxicologicalproperties of chemical substances under the direction oftoxicologistsAssists in the preparation of reports and/or client deliverablesAssesses risk of chemicals of concern in accordance with criteriaand agency screening standards under the direction of toxicologistsMaintains records and prepares reports/correspondences related tothe projectPerforms other duties as assignedEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor\'s degree (required) in Public Health or Biology, Chemistryor other related science for entry level positionsAdvanced degrees and certifications with commensurate experience(desirable)Proficient in a Windows-based computer platform (required)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Accessand Excel to include graphs and pivot tables (required)Familiarity with data visualization software, such as Tableau(required)Prefer familiarity with Microsoft SQL ServerCompetency with Microsoft SharePoint (preferred)PROFESSIONAL SKILLS/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
