DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this role, you will be responsible for directing the work of Health Care Surveyors (HCS) for an assigned geographical area to ensure the completion of timely appropriate surveys for home health care agencies, home care agencies and registries, end stage renal disease facilities, hospices, rural health clinics, federally qualified health facilities, comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation facilities, outpatient physical therapy and speech pathology facilities, birth centers, and pediatric extended care centers. These surveys determine compliance with state and federal regulations for licensure, certification, and registration.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for the receipt, tracking, and disposition of all complaints, initial agency and facility applications, and changes in ownership in accordance with established division policies. This is considered an essential position. Statewide travel may be required, which could include overnight stays.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per weekWork hours are generally 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. However, please note that this position may have irregular work hours.Overtime as needed.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.
