  At InterContinental London Park Lane , we are currently looking to for a Head of Res, Groups and M&E to join the team.

  As the Head of Reservations, Groups, Meetings & Events (M&E), you will play a pivotal role in leading a team responsible for the hotel's group and events performance. Your role involves identifying opportunities or risks across all revenue streams. Collaborating with the Hotel's Revenue Manager to prepare budgets, your expertise in forecasting and strategic planning is crucial. With a minimum of 3 years' management experience in Hotel Conference Sales or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a hotel commercial office management role, you will drive a total revenue approach. This entails ensuring the implementation of the agreed-upon strategy across the Groups & Events team and other hotel departments.

  Your responsibilities include ensuring proper training for all team members on systems and service standards, developing a talent pipeline, and creating personal development plans. Leading and motivating your team to excel in all areas, fostering colleague engagement through team-building activities and recognising good performance to contribute to consistent positive guest experiences.

  Your ability to analyse problems, comprehend underlying issues and root causes, and make informed decisions is a key strength. With a proven track record of delivering results and creating an environment conducive to sharing best practices, your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, further enhance your suitability for the role. Additionally, your knowledge of the local market and proficiency in Reservation and C&E tools and systems such as CONCERTO, Opera, and Delphi make you an ideal candidate for this position
