　　The Head of Quality is a leadership role within the GE Aerospace Hungary that will provide strategic and technical leadership for Quality related functions & activities.

　　The Head of Quality will partner across the business to drive quality excellence and zero-defect culture.

　　The individual will lead a team focused on proactive problem-solving with a continuous improvement mindset and will be future Quality Leader for GE Aerospace Hungary.

　　Job Description

　　Roles and Responsibilities

　　Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control. Includes quality assurance of products, services, and processes.Support day to day quality related issues across Quality operations, Regulatory, Training, Supplier, New Product Implementation (NPI) projects, Calibration & Lab testing activitiesHandle various customers, regulatory & internal auditsLead and drive Root Cause Corrective Action meetings for customer complaints, rework, and shop loss eventsWork closely with shop inspectors for product safety & regulatory complianceCollaborate with cross functional teams for identification of process gaps and Lean improvement opportunitiesUses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

　　Required Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityStrong Leadership & Quality experience in global manufacturing industryFluency in Hungarian & English, both spoken and written
