What you can expect

We are looking for a Head of Learning and Organization Development to help build a Talent Management Organization that will be responsible for designing our core Diversity and Organizational Design strategy This will enable the growth and development for all team members, and create a scalable development program for the full employee lifecycle.

About the Team

This team builds organization-wide programs and programming globally for all levels to enhance the cohesiveness and productivity of Zoom as a whole.

Responsibilities

Developing a strategic vision roadmap for Zoom’s learning programs that supports our talent strategy

Building company-wide programs from scratch, including a great bias for action, robust change management and communications in the roll out, and the ability to articulate both measurement and impact of their programs

Building career and skills-development programs that enable our team members to grow their career and are customized to meet the needs of both ICs and Management

Partnering with senior executives to own, role model, and champion all talent initiatives

Evaluating and making recommendations on training programs in partnership with HR Business

Partners, and organizational leaders to develop learning experiences for all functions of the organization

Assessing, reporting, and delivering critical data/metrics related to talent processes to key leaders and stakeholders across the business that measure performance against our established goals

What we’re looking for

Have 10+ years of experience in OD and Adult Learning in a leadership position, with a proven track record of delivering successful training programs that have positively impacted employee performance and business outcomes

Have a deep understanding of, and the ability to apply, the latest learning and development trends, technologies, methodologies and best practices to scale

Demonstrate ability to look beyond the playbook to try something new or build / rebuild something from scratch

Have a track record of building high-performing, multidisciplinary teams for scale, including program managers and facilitators, instructional designers, and learning systems, tools, and operations

Able to operate agilely in a high-growth tech environment where structures and processes are still being built or defined

Have built robust communications and changed plans to roll out / maintain your programs to drive adoption and engagement. You leverage the right channels, at the right time, to promote your programs. You can effectively adjust your messaging / approach based on your audience

Have experience utilizing data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of learning programs, tell the story of their success, and inform future programs

Have a track record in rolling out new programs and long-term strategies globally, dealing with a wide range of internal stakeholders and external partners, utilizing a data driven approach

Experience in complex change management – across multiple employee segments, geographies and business functions

Possess excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills. Attention to detail with a creative approach

Experience operating in a global environment with appreciation of cultural differences, and ability to build consensus across geographies and business units

Able to be hands on as part of strategy execution, as needed

Demonstrate empathetic people manager skills; highly skilled with developing team/direct reports. You operate with a customer-centric mindset – capable of balancing competing demands and priorities

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$173,900.00

Maximum:

$380,500.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
