　　 Description Stony Brook University School of Medicine of the State University of New York invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the division of Gastroenterology.

　　We are seeking a Gastroenterologist with strong clinical interests to play an active role in the development of clinical programs of the division. Stony Brook is located in suburban Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, offering excellent schools and wonderful recreational activities, including access to beaches, boating and the cultural wealth of New York City. The level of appointment will be dependent on credentials and experience.

　　 Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　MD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine, BC/BE in Gastroenterology. Experience in clinical care and teaching. Skilled in a variety of endoscopic procedures.

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Focus on general gastroenterology and non-transplant hepatology as well as teaching and clinical research.
