The position
By joining our team in Renewables you will have the opportunity to:
Manage and shapeEquinor Poland’soverall communications strategy relating to its renewable’s activities in line with Equinor’s global communications strategy andbrand positioning,responsible for assessing reputational risks and manage external issues.
Head up Equinor Poland’s communications department and be the company’s communications’representative in partnerships and in relevant industry associations.
Advisesenior managementwithstrategic and operational communication supportfor external and internalpurpose.
Supportand enableongoing renewables businessactivities, hereunderoperations and projects developed by Equinor and its subsidiaries with the aim of positioning Equinor as a leading renewable energy company.
Act as Equinor Poland’s spokesperson, manage media relationsin Poland,responsible fordevelopinga proactive media strategywith aim tobroaden Equinor’soutreach and recognition.
Lead onidentifying,planningand executingEquinor’s participation in conferences and eventsin Poland.
Ensure proper crisis management plan isestablishedand updated asrequiredand be part of emergency communication response team.
You

Master’s degree in relevant field of communication, public affairs, political science, business, international relations or similar.
An individual with leadership experience and profound energy knowledge who is passionate about communicating around the energy transition and who has experience within the energy sector, particularly in renewables (offshore and onshore wind, solar PV, system integration, hydrogen, battery storage, power markets).
Strategic mindset and ability to act as communication advisor to senior management.
Creative storytelling capabilities.
Ability todemonstratestrategic use of different communication channels/formats –contentplanning and execution.
Experience working in a matrix organization is desirableas well as experience leading and being part ofsmalloperational communications team is preferable.
Excellent communication and writing skills, in English and Polish.
