  Job Overview

  Be responsible for all TE facilities, Real Estate, Security & Safety across TE India locations in close co-ordination with the location leads and responsible corporate departments. Bring in more uniformity on facilities and infrastructure, security & safety for all employees at all times.

  Responsibilities:

  Reporting to the Country General Manager, the role will include the following responsibilities:

  Develops, executes and administers work plan and budget for Facilities, Real Estate & Site Security

  Identifies process improvements within areas of responsibility and develops new procedures and/or programs that result in more efficient operations.

  In cooperation with the respective site management teams, supervises and provides guidance to the administration & facility teams, security supervisors and guard staff, including overseeing performance management.

  Ensures execution of all daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance programs that fall within areas of responsibility.

  Ensures execution of environmental programs such as recycling and trash disposal.

  Oversees the development and implementation of equipment’s of Civil work, Fire Fighting, Electrical, Plumbing preventative maintenance of the same.

  Be responsible and manage outside contractor works, Landlords, real estate & infrastructure developers.

  Lead and/or collaborate and support others for infrastructure project planning and completion such as Production units/factory setup, office space & infrastructure upgrade.

  Ensures compliance with local & state laws and regulations that address building operations, the safe use of equipment, and storage of goods etc.,

  In cooperation with the EHS department, assists with an organization-wide health & safety program and oversees regular building inspections and programs, ensuring a clean, safe environment for staff, patrons and guests.

  Leads security training and awareness efforts to protect personnel, operations and assets against security related risks

  Supports investigations of allegations or suspicious activity under the direction and scope of the corporate Enterprise Risk & Security Management department

  Provides support for special event and travel security and executive protection.

  Support and assists with coordination of the site and country crisis management teams

  Serves as an active participant in relevant committees such as canteen, transport and TE office & Factory facilities.

  Schedules and executes preventive maintenance of all TE Facilities and equipment as necessary.

  Renewals of all approvals / contracts of the facilities and up to date records for the same.

  Visits local statutory bodies or government office for the renewals of the approvals.

  Serves as liaison with local, regional and national law enforcement, as necessary.

  Supervise and guide implementation and improvement of the following at all TE locations

  Desired Candidate Profile:

  15 years’ experience in building/facility management and maintenance, security/risk management, and managing others, budgeting, and administration. Experience in Facility/Estate management of Logistics /Industrial Park will be preferred. Prior experience in law enforcement / military service is advantageous.

  Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals from various backgrounds

  Ability to manage a large workforce and prioritize and implement projects within scope, on time, and within available budget.

  Expert skills in safety programs, problem solving and organizational skills to allocate resources to achieve departmental and facility goals.

  Ability to detect problems and direct treatments and procedures to improve processes.

  Prior experience in Defense / Military services is preferred.

  Full time bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferred

  Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  Knowledge of ERP systems

  Knowledge of MEP Civil Work.

  Knowledge of physical security systems, including design, operation and maintenance
