　　Thesuccessful candidate will work within the Compressor Component productsmanufacturing area within Siemens Energy Gas Turbine products division.Success is dependent upon flexibility in working urgent priorities and effectivelycompleting daily work assignments day to day.

　　The primary purpose of thisposition is to be skilled in use of manual SMAW, GTAW, GMAW weldingprocesses. Welding of carbon and stainless steel will be required. Experiencein welding Inconel is a plus.

　　How You’ll Make anImpact

　　Work from manufacturing information, drawings, written and/or verbalinstructions and perform such operations as:

　　· Using material handling devices, loads/unloads parts from equipmentand/or assists crane operator.

　　· Set up welding positioners with fixtures, adjusting to proper settings, securehardware, etc., per job documentation and drawing specifications.

　　· Follow established assembly and welding procedures on lineups, standardwork instructions and set up sheets.

　　· Perform in process Non Destructive Testing on welds and any necessary repairsto meet quality standards.

　　· Complete in process charting of operational information and/or recordingdata as required.

　　· Prep work piece for inspections as required.

　　· Deburr and cleans work, as required.

　　· Return tooling, attachments, fixtures, etc., to proper location uponcompletion of operation.

　　· Complete log sheet, downtime records, and other information, as requiredby data collection system.

　　· Adapt to various situations and adjusts to shifting priorities.

　　· Perform other duties as assigned.

　　Job duties require abasic knowledge in the use of shop mathematics, together with the use ofdrawings, specifications, charts, tables, various types of hand tools and/orthe training generally applicable in a particular or specializedoccupation.

　　Minimum education requirement:High School diploma or GED. 1-3 yearsof experience and applicable trades training/ certification. Successfulapplicants must be able to pass a 6G weldingcertification, standard hearing,vision, and PFT tests. Must qualifyfor and maintain appropriate equipment certifications of Siemens Energy (i.e.Fork truck, crane, etc.).

　　Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in theUnited States without need for current or future employer-sponsored workauthorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorshipmay be eligible for internal transfers.

　　Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status required

　　Offers of employment are contingent up successful completion ofpre-hire background checks and testing. This includes drug screen and fit forduty testing.
