About Growth Associate, Uber Grocery & Retail

Our Grocery & Retail Account Management teams are on the frontline focusing on improving the experience for merchants and consumers using our platform.

  Grocery & Retail is a fast-growing business within Uber that enables consumers to get just about anything delivered that isn't restaurant food - think groceries, essentials, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, and more. Our path to success originates from a strong local presence, and the Grocery & Retail Account Management teams collaborate closely with key merchant partners to sustainably grow their business whilst delivering the best experience to Uber Eats users, with the goal of making Uber Eats their most loved delivery platform.

  About the Role

  As the Grocery & Retail Growth Associate, you will be responsible for developing the relationships with our key merchant partners and improve their business performance on Uber Eats. You are expected to constantly evaluate our partners' business and operational performance, and independently drive cross-functional initiatives to optimize performance across partners. The role also encompasses sales engagements with new partners to grow our Grocery & Retail business in Sweden.

  This role is a rare opportunity to support the growth of Uber Eats with a strong sense of ownership. The role calls for a combination of operational mindset, savvy number-crunching, and outstanding relationship management.   What You'll Do

  Drive business performance across your portfolio of Grocery & Retail partners by improving the experience for merchants and consumersFoster deep relationships with our merchant partners, identifying and acting on opportunities to take their delivery business to the next levelOptimize our merchant partners' business and operational performance on Uber EatsBuild deep on-the-ground expertise about our merchant partners' operationsTackle or escalate complex operational issues for timely resolution for our merchant partnersAttract and onboard new merchant partners to join our platformAct as an ambassador of Uber Eats mission, brand, and product

  What You'll Need

  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, Master's Degree a plusMin 1-2 years of professional experience in Account Management, Sales, Retail, Business Development,Consulting or similarFluency in Swedish and EnglishOutstanding communication and relationship-building skillsHighly autonomous - comfortable with driving your own initiatives and working with minimal oversightData-driven decision-making mentality and sound commercial judgmentHigh adaptability to change and ability to execute quicklyBasic experience working with Google Sheets/Excel

  Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office. For certain roles, such as those based at green-light hubs, employees are expected to be in-office for 100% of their time.
