Your role

　　Are you an experienced, confident relationship builder? Are your market analysis skills second to none?

　　We're looking for an Investments and Execution Trader to:

　　• trade a range of REPO/SBL products including USD Credit/HY/EM, Agency and Non-Agency Mortgages via sales and voice brokers;

　　• have frequent interactions with internal and external clients as a trading function;

　　• interact and collaborate closely with middle and back offices on settlement and operational issues. Develop enhancements to improve our processes and controls;

　　• focus on collateral optimization within Treasury Asset Liability & Management and broader UBS Group;

　　• assist in the forecasting and management of scarce resources (RWA/LRD/Liquidity), working towards solutions to optimize current usage across all divisions of UBS Group.

　　Your team

　　You'll be working in Group Treasury Investments & Execution team in New York. Group Treasury is the internal bank to Businesses and Entities of UBS. The team dynamically manages financial resources, whilst balancing the resulting risk / return economics to achieve optimized and sustainable results.

　　The Group Treasury mission is maintaining a strong 1st line of defense for all Treasury risks with support from a fully aligned 2nd line of defense. You will gain experience within the Asset and Liability teams, but have a home team on the Repo desk.

　　Your expertise

　　• a Bachelor's degree level education in a financial or analytical subject is preferred

　　• ideally 4+ years of experience in a sales or trading function and direct familiarity with external trade execution

　　• competent understanding of Fixed Income and Money Market products, with particular experience in repo products, securitized products and interest rate risk management

　　• able to work under pressure and quickly assess the risk vs. reward of a trade proposition;
