　　Position Summary Details

　　The Grounds Keeper maintains property grounds by cutting lawns; trimming and edging along walkways, flower beds, and walls; trimming bushes and trees; planting bushes and flowers; applying lawn care chemicals, as needed; and removing snow and spreading salt. Also repairs and maintains mowers, blowers, and sprinkler systems.

　　Schedule: Monday to Friday (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)

　　Pay Rate: $24.95 per hour

　　Essential Functions

　　Assists the Critical Facility Technician with testing and rounds.

　　Ensures strict adherence to critical facility work rules and safety procedures.

　　Is familiar with all applicable Federal, State, and local rules, codes, and regulations.

　　Responsibilities

　　The Grounds Keeper maintains property grounds by cutting lawns; trimming and edging along walkways, flower beds, and walls; trimming bushes and trees; plants bushes and flowers; applying lawn care chemicals, as needed; and removing snow and spreading salt. Also repairs and maintains mowers, blowers, and sprinkler systems.

　　Performs preventive maintenance on all building equipment

　　Assists, as necessary, with scheduling of preventative maintenance, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance with minimal disruption of building services

　　Responds quickly to emergency situations and customer concerns

　　Has knowledge of warehouse/inventory management principles and best practices

　　Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills

　　Is able to prioritize projects and has strong problem-solving skills

　　Has good research skills and is highly organized, with strong attention to detail

　　Is able to work independently

　　Is able to speak, read, and write English

　　Qualifications

　　One year of similar experience is preferred.
