Amentum is seeking a Grounds Maintenance/Groundskeeper to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. This position is reserved for Bahamian citizens only. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.

　　Essential Responsibilities:

　　Maintain a variety of facilities including athletic fields, industrial areas, schools, residential areas, beaches, parks and common areas.

　　Use a variety of tools and other equipment that may be introduced into the work place.

　　Reports directly to the Roads & Grounds Manager.

　　Cuts lawns using hand mowers, power mowers or riding mowers.

　　Trims and edges around walks, flower beds and walls using clippers, weed cutters and edging tools.

　　Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth.

　　Removes damaged leaves, branches and twigs using shears, pruners or chain saws.

　　Cleans grounds and removes litter and debris using rake, pitchfork or shovel.

　　Cleans drainage ditches and culverts using shovel and rake.

　　Cleans all equipment after use and properly stores them away.

　　Maintains equipment by using grease gun and may sharpen tools.

　　Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline processes.

　　Works cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service.

　　May perform a variety of laboring duties, common to groundskeeping operations.

　　May perform other duties as assigned.

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　High school diploma or equivalent.

　　1 year of general maintenance experience.

　　Working knowledge of groundskeeping.

　　Working knowledge of tools for maintenance.

　　Ability read and write in English.

　　Ability to pass a Police Record Check.

　　Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
