Description

　　If you are good at communicating and like to work on a team, Robert Half has an opening in the Financial Services industry for a Bookkeeper. Do you have experience working with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting? You may be the right candidate for this Bookkeeper role. This long-term position is a great opportunity for a Bookkeeper who wants to work in the Richmond, Virginia area.

　　What you get to do every single day

　　Preside over and review general ledger

　　Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts

　　Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

　　Examine payments received and record deposits

　　Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents

　　Settle accounts by reconciling entries

　　Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

　　Requirements - Account reconciliation experience

　　Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience required

　　Solid understanding of QuickBooks

　　BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

　　Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

　　Experience using accounting software
