SUMMARY: Coordinatepre-press production between separators, third party suppliers,customers, and American Packaging. This includes reviewing artwork,recommending revisions to improve reproduction, instructing separatorson specifications and requirements, coordinating final proof approvaland assisting in establishing color standards. Participate intraining, embrace concepts of and actively practice the STOP SafetyProgram fundamentals to aid American Packaging Corporation\'s efforts toachieve a zero-accident rate. Individual must be very self-motivated &take proactive steps towards solving identified problems. Must also bevery willing to take on new projects as they develop. Review incomingartwork for adherence to printing and converting specifications. Makerecommendations to improve reproduction. Document and/or resolvespecification deviations. Review proofs against original artwork toensure printing and converting specifications are maintained. Ensureinstructions to separator were followed. Document and/or resolvediscrepancies. Coordinate revisions if required. Coordinate proofapproval process with customers through written and verbalcommunication. Ensure appropriate proofing and manufacturing materialsare in house prior to press run. Represent American Packaging atpre-production meetings with customers and suppliers to review printingcapabilities, procedures and systems. Assemble, distribute, and maintaincustomer approved color standards. Distribute samples to internal andexternal customers as required. Coordinate and overview customer pressapprovals. Provide interface with American Packaging CorporationCustomer Service Department to ensure: Compliance of customer\'sgraphics with APC capabilities Satisfaction of customer\'s schedulingrequirements Assist customers in the development of new packaginggraphics for successful APC reproduction.
