About Graphic Design Intern

  Description

  As a Graphic Design Intern, you will collaborate with Internal Communications to create engaging and visually appealing materials in both written/printed and digital media formats including but not limited to:

  Email communications

  Brochures

  Catalogs

  Social media posts

  Intranet site

  Company announcements

  Infographics

  Newsletters

  Presentations

  New design templates

  This is an 8-10 week paid summer internship. (June – August)

  Remote or hybrid opportunity. It is preferred that the candidate lives in St. Louis, MO for in-office collaboration days and training.

  Qualifications

  Must be a current college student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field or a recent college graduate

  Self-starter with the ability to navigate in an ambiguous environment

  Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

  Skilled in standard computer applications and platforms such as Outlook and MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel

  Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities with superior attention to detail

  Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment

  Great communication skills and the ability to quickly build good working relationships and establish trust

  Proactive with excellent organizational skills and the ability to independently drive initiatives from start to finish

  Excellent design/layout and production skills using standard graphics software programs

  Highly self-motivated with the ability to understand priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and be attentive to details

  Proficient in Adobe InDesign

  Ability to follow both written and oral instructions

  Flexibility when working on projects, i.e. priority pivots, workload organization

  Passion for curating new thoughts, ideas, and design approaches

  Video editing a plus
