Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
Bachelor’s degree in communication, public health, health education, or a related field.
Experience working on externally funded and/or grant funded programs.
Ability to prepare correspondence that includes research writing, literature reviews, reports and grant proposals.
Demonstrated experience with research methods for program planning and assessment.
Experience translating scientific or technical information for the public.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in communication, public health, health education or a related field.
Experience with community-based health research.
Event planning experience.
Job Description
Responsible for providing professional supervision and support for grant-funded Translational Health Research Center programs.
Job Duties
Coordinate activities of grant-funded health research programs.
Assist project director with program development for externally funded programs and grant programs within the center.
Collaborate with key THRC personnel to support grant activities.
Attend meetings in support of grant-funded projects.
Assist project director in development of evaluation reports to the funding agency.
Prepare correspondence to the funder that includes reports, evaluations and programmatic reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
