Responsibilities:
Assist with the administration and compliance of Kraemer Safety and QualityProgramsUnderstand field processes of operating GPS and Machine control systemsFrequently and professionally communicate with clients, contractors,teammates, etc.Assist with the implementation of Standard Operating ProceduresCreate, manage and maintain project layout and construction data,including creating machine and data collector files for the projectsUnderstand and perform machine control and field device upload processesProcess work orders for QC, field-to-office information or as-builtsProvide interpretation of design plans to construction/staking/laying outEnsure surveys are compliant with applicable laws, rules, and regulationsPerform calculations such as alignments, drainage, structures and roadwaymodelingEstablish and maintain standardized machine control/survey models andconstruction survey data for project-level operationsTrain field crews to operate GPS equipment and machine control properlyEnsure GPS equipment and machine controls are calibrated and working properlyAssist with conducting quantity calculations and drawings as requiredQualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction or civil Engineering desired, orequivalent heavy civil work or surveyor experience1-3 years' experience building 3D surfaces with Trimble Business Center(TBC), Carlson Civil, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation InRoads,Terramodel, or related softwareProficient in Machine Control Modeling, BIM is a plusStrong work ethic and attention to detailStrong decision making and/or problem-solving skillsStrong time management and communication skillsEfficient in Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of and ability to read construction planBenefits
