　　Description:

　　Ensure compliance to global trade policies and procedures with all applicable laws and regulations in various jurisdictions globally

　　Monitor and analyze changes in global trade regulations and advise management on the potential impact on the company's operations and systems

　　Actively support the company's import and export activities, including tariff classification, product control review and licensing setup in this client's Global Trade Management system

　　Generate periodic reports for various jurisdictions

　　Work with internal stakeholders where import and export licenses are required to ensure compliance on international shipments

　　Provide guidance and support to internal teams on global trade issues, including trade agreements, sanctions, and embargoes

　　Conduct training sessions for employees on global trade compliance and best practices

　　Maintain relationships with government agencies, and other external partners to ensure smooth and efficient global trade operations

　　Conduct daily reviews and assess risk related to this client's global trade activities to identify potential areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions as necessary

　　Document and report findings

　　Lead special projects related to global trade, such as the implementation of new trade agreements or the development of new import/export programs

　　Flexibility to travel to support business activities

　　Possess the ability to gather and analyze data, and effectively communicate results

　　Have a good understanding of Ciena EBS, OTM/GTM, procurement, and quote tools
