　　About the role: This role drives the digital transformation of the Global Business Planning & Analysis (BPA)/ Digital Finance function of the Onco and Pharma Business Units into an advanced analytics and value-creation powerhouse. The Global Senior Manager Digital Finance (GSMDF) will shape our future finance/ BPA organization and the way we sup-port our business using AI, ML & digital. This includes project management, process and organizational design and identifying and managing interdependencies with other digital initiatives throughout the company.

　　Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

　　• Co-develops vision and supports prioritization of new AI-/decision-making tools in close alignment with the BPA/Finance function of the Onco & Pharma business units

　　• Owns selected AI/ML products and heads their design, development and implementation by orchestrating the right resources across data science and visualization experts. Ensures successful roll-out and adoption across IM.

　　• Connects newly designed solutions and processes with operational links and leverages her/his operations acumen to pragmatically implement in the NVS environment

　　• Identifies areas of inefficiencies in the application of AI/ML/digital and implements improvements towards a highly efficient, "industrialized" approach in planning and forecasting

　　• Liaises with other digital/AI initiatives (e.g. commercial, other Novartis units), identifies potential overlaps/ synergies, and co-creates holistic digitalization roadmap

　　• Co-shapes future organization of BPA/ Finance function to realize systemic evolution

　　• Works closely with broader Digital Finance team to define data requirements for next generation AI tools to further improve decision-making and efficiencies

　　Role Requirements

　　Essential Requirements:

　　• University degree in Finance, Economics (or similar), MBA or equivalent preferred

　　• English (fluent)

　　• Extensive years of experience in a multinational company, consulting or advisory in areas relevant to the position.

　　• Knowledge of finance processes, especially planning and forecasting, performance management, management reporting

　　Desirable Requirements:

　　• Ideally country and/or regional experience within the Novartis commercial BPA function

　　• Strong analytical skills (applicable to financial analyses and process, governance & organizational design)

　　• Strong project management skills; project management certification (PMP, etc.) is an asset / Good communication and stakeholder manage- ment skills applied in complex environments (e.g. matrix/divisional organizations)
