The Global Security Applications Developer will be passionate about identifying and driving opportunities to advance technology into Global Security processes and building and improving technological solutions at Uber. The successful applicant will work with collaborators to develop technical solutions that satisfy a variety of business processes. The role must be able to deliver work products using Agile development methodologies for software development. This role will increase Global Security's ability to build tools and capabilities to streamline operations within Global Security & Investigations. Responsibilities:

　　Drive standardization of Global Security user base through driving operational efficiency with development of operational efficiency solutionsPerform platform development of websites (Google Sites), applications (AppSheet), and general scripting activities (AppScript) within the Google Workspace platformIdentification of difficulties and inefficient operations for Global Security team members that can be resolved through scripting and technical development activities * Custom web application development using JavaScript * Build automations, solutions, and integrations within Uber's enterprise platform offerings, such as Slack, Asana, Gmail, Sheets * Manage operations & maintenance of existing Google Workspace platform builds * Support in building ESRI ArcGIS online workflows and applications to operationalize Global Security use cases * Lead workgroups and sub-workgroups with Central Programs and Uber Regional Stakeholders to support development activities * Lead identification and consolidation of user perspectives

　　Collaborate globally with Uber teams (during normal U.S.-based business hours) to identify highly-manual processes and envision creative solutions

　　Develop and run tools to support Uber Global Security end users

　　Build automations, integrations, and scripting solutions within enterprise platforms

　　Experience using JavaScript to develop tools (intermediate level)

　　Experience writing SQL queries (beginner to intermediate level)

　　For Atlanta, GA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$75,500 per year - USD$84,250 per year.

　　For Nashville, TN-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$75,500 per year - USD$84,250 per year.

　　For Phoenix, AZ-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$75,500 per year - USD$84,250 per year.

　　For Pittsburgh, PA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$75,500 per year - USD$84,250 per year.
